(Jah lie nah)

'Jalina' means easy going, refined, desires all the finer things in life - lovely home, furniture and environment.

On Jan 04, 2002, at 10 wks old, Jalina arrived in Mesa, Arizona to adorn our home, offices, restaurants, theaters, church and town; to walk, sit and lie beside us everywhere we go for one year, then for the remainder of her life provide "sight" by safely leading a person with little or no sight.

After raising Jalina and obedience training her we returned her to Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, California for formal training.  Jalina developed cataracts, and was career changed.

Jalina was adopted by our dear friends, Dr. Bob Pangrazi, Kinetics Professor now Faculty Emeritus, Emeritus College, Arizona State University and Bob's spouse, Dr. Debbie Pangrazi, Superintendent of Physical Education, Mesa United Public School District, Mesa, Arizona.

With Bob and Debbie, Jalina enjoys life to the fullest in a gated community in Tempe, Arizona and in the Pangrazi's summer home in Flagstaff, Arizona.

We receive frequent updates and pictures from Debbie.

Children of Bob's next door neighbors love to walk Jalina.
