Eureka loves brisk, long walks in busy places.
She is so strong that, while in a gentle leader, she can lead her handler. Her intentions were to walk me where she decided to go. To curb her pulling and to cause her to pay attention to her handler, I abruptly changed direction, then, after a few paces, changed direction back to our intended direction of travel. After a few 180/180s, Eureka realized the handler is in charge. Now it is fun to walk her.
She was well aware of everything going on but not distracted. She never stopped or slowed or turned her head to observe what we just passed - even cats or dogs.
She handled pedestrian and vehicular traffic well. Eureka was not spooked by events or objects. I think Eureka would do well with a busy, energetic guide dog handler.
